WELOCAL CONFERENCE SPRING 2019
We had so much fun at conference in St. Louis. It was a great opportunity to introduce some of our younger members to conference and have them learn more about SWE! We loved exploring the city while we were at it and eating lots of good food.Congratulations to GT SWE for winning SWE We local 2019 Outstanding Professional Development Event Award! GT SWE continues to display excellence and we are so proud.

SWE NATIONAL CONFERENCE FALL 2018
We had a blast at the SWE National Conference in Minneapolis, MN this fall! We learned lots, networked with GT SWE alumni, secured internships, and had a blast exploring the beautiful city of Minneapolis.
Also, GT SWE received 3 Mission Awards at this year’s WE18 for our excellence as a SWE section!
Best Practice – Public Policy: Awarded for STEM promotion in the community, we are excited to receive this for Little SWE, our weekly outreach program with 3rd and 4th grade girls at Centennial Academy where SWE volunteers organize STEM-related activities for the students, as well as for our emerging SWENext program and biannual on-campus High School Outreach event!
Best Practice – Leadership Development & Mentoring: With a large, collaborative, diverse and robust leadership team of 42 Exec Board members and Committee Chairs who successfully executed over 70 events last year, we received this award for achievements in leadership development and sustainment!
Gold Award: We are proud to receive the Gold Mission Award for well-rounded excellence in leadership, mentoring, professional development, campus partnerships, outreach, awards & recognitions, and communication!
